Koven is a party games app built for the room, not the algorithm. One app holds many game formats and three ways to play: one phone passed around, everybody on their own phone, or the game on the telly with phones as controllers. Players can build their own decks and share them, and everything published to strangers is moderated first. Koven is made in the United Kingdom.

What Koven does differently

  • One app instead of eight. Formats are plugins, so the catalogue grows without anybody installing anything new.
  • Guests need no download. A four letter code and a mobile browser is the whole setup, which is what makes a game night with visiting relatives possible.
  • Moderation before publication, not after. Nothing a player makes reaches a stranger until a person has looked at it.
  • No advertising and no advertising profiles. Not for children, and not for adults either.

Using our name and logo

  • Use the Koven name and logo to write about us, review us or link to us. You do not need to ask.
  • Take your own screenshots and video from the app and use them. Please do not edit content into a screenshot that Koven did not produce.
  • Do not change the logo’s colours, stretch it, add effects to it, or set it inside another mark.
  • Do not use the name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse a product, a person or a campaign.
  • Koven is always written with a capital K and never in all capitals, and it is one word.
