A statement appears and everybody answers yes or no at the same time. It takes eight minutes, it needs no explaining, and it is the fastest way to find out what a room actually thinks.

How it plays
There is nothing to learn. The statement goes up, both answers are one tap away, and the split is shown the moment everybody has answered. It is the format to open an evening with while people are still arriving, and the one to reach for when somebody has just walked in and does not want a five minute briefing. Rounds are short enough that stopping is never awkward.

How you can play it
Online room
Everybody on their own phone, in the same room or three hundred miles apart. Guests join with a four letter code and no download.
Party screen
The telly or a laptop shows the game to the whole room. Phones become controllers, so nobody has to squint at somebody else’s screen.
Play it with your own words
Every format runs on a deck, and you can write your own. A deck you make is yours to share with your family by code straight away. Anything you publish to strangers is read by a moderator first.
