Story Chain
One sentence each, nobody sees the rest, and the room reads it back.
A story written a line at a time by everybody in the room, where you can only see the line before yours. What you get back at the end is a story nobody wrote and everybody did.

How it plays
Koven gives the opening, and each player adds a line without seeing more than the last one. The stories move around the room in parallel, so nobody is waiting for a turn. At the end every story is read back in full, and the room votes for a favourite. It is the gentlest game in the app: nothing is timed hard, nothing is scored against you, and the youngest person at the table often writes the line that wins.
What happens in a round
Straight from the game itself: these are the phases the room moves through, in order, with the clock each one starts on.

How you can play it
Online room
Everybody on their own phone, in the same room or three hundred miles apart. Guests join with a four letter code and no download.
Party screen
The telly or a laptop shows the game to the whole room. Phones become controllers, so nobody has to squint at somebody else’s screen.
Play it with your own words
Every format runs on a deck, and you can write your own. A deck you make is yours to share with your family by code straight away. Anything you publish to strangers is read by a moderator first.
